We're glad you're here!

Being new can be quite scary...

Welcome to Woodhill Church. Being new anywhere can be quite intimidating. Everybody seems to know each other... really well. And everyone seems to know what is happening and when.

We'd like to help you settle into life at our church so that it becomes your home where you can grow in your faith, whether you have just moved here and looking for a new church or are just discovering faith in Jesus and a church family for the first time.

To help you know a bit about us and what's important to us then here are a few things that we think are good to know.

Living The Full Life:
Discover It, Live It, Give It Away

This is our vision statement. We believe that Jesus gives life to the full and everything we do aims to celebrate and grow in that knowledge. We want to help everyone discover this full life in Jesus, learn to live it and be people who give this life away to others.  We'd love you to join with us as we seek to do this.

Gatherings

Sunday is the best day of the week because it is where the whole church family gets to gather together, worship Jesus, unpack God's word and spend time allowing the Holy Spirit to minister to us. We have a number of gatherings so check out What's On in the menu.

Life Groups

While we meet together on a Sunday we would love to encourage everyone to join a life group. This is a small group of people who gather either weekly or fortnightly in the week to do life together as we seek to live a full life in Jesus. The groups are there to help you flourish in your faith. Have a look at life group page and sign up. We have a number of groups that meet in Knaphill & Brookwood.

If you want to join a Life Group then contact Neil, our vicar

Flourishing

Not everything is about courses but in our busy lives they can help us thrive in our life in Jesus. That's why throughout the year we run a variety of courses to help you grow and flourish in your faith. Everything from Alpha which explores the foundations of the Christian faith, The Bible Course which walks you through the big story of The Bible, and The Bereavement Journey which helps those who are working through grief, new courses are being worked on as we speak.
