The Bible compares human life to a journey. Each journey has a beginning, a middle and an end. Along the journey there are a number of significant events where we as a church can offer specific support and assistance.

Baptism, also known as Christening marks the beginning of the journey of faith, symbolising turning towards Jesus Christ and joining the community of the church. As well as Baptisms we also offer Thanksgiving Services, where we thank God for the gift of a new child and pray for them and for their family.
The birth of a baby is a very special occasion and one worth celebrating before God as a family. Please complete this form if you would like to request a baptism or thanksgiving.
If you're thinking of getting married, congratulations!
We recommend the Church of England wedding website to help plan your special day but we'd love you to talk to us about getting married at Woodhill Church, so please get in touch with the church office at welcome@woodhill.church.

If we're your Parish Church but you're getting married at another church, you still require your banns to be read with us. Please complete the banns application form below.
This form should be completed by both you and your fiancé/e as quickly as possible to ensure the banns are read to enable your wedding to go ahead as planned.
When someone dies, whether expected or not, it comes as a shock. If you are seeking a Christian funeral we are very willing to do all we can to help; please contact a Funeral Director who will approach us initially on your behalf.
